Fresh lychees from a friend’s garden in Mauritius. It is unusual to be eating Lychees in winter since most of the lychees I have eaten so far are from China during the months of June and July.

The lychees are succulent and sweet, very similar to the 桂味 variety. Although 一啖荔枝三把火,  it is too good to give it a miss.
