As society move further away from communism to capitalism, youths are encouraged to think creatively and outside the box. Consequently, individualism is encouraged, as one has to stand out from the masses to success. But has society forgotten that individualism and tolerance have to go hand in hand? Without the latter, individuals become fixated that it is their way or the highway, morphing into extremism. Whilst society in right in encouraging individualism, we must accept that every individual is unique in their own right and their differences should be embraced.
