On 30th January 2013, Blackberry finally unveiled the first 2 handsets (Blackberry Z10 and Q10) running on Blackberry 10 OS. The company announced that there will be at least 70,000 apps on Blackberry ecosystem. Whilst users in the United States have to wait till the end of March for the handset, the Z10 will be available in the United Kingdom on 31st January 2013 and in Canada on 5th February 2013. A sim-free handset retails for £480 in the United Kingdom.
