As I was tidying up my drawer, I found a teddy bear wearing a vest that was crocheted by a friend from university. A miniature cup bearing my name was sewn on to personalise the bear. A wave of nostalgia sweeps over me.
We live, we die, but the quality of our lives depends solely on the risks we take, the people we love, and trust me when I tell you, that you haven’t lived until you’ve loved.

2015 Birthday cakes
Truly blessed to have 2 home made birthday cakes and a Stilton Cheesecake (with apricot coulis, chilli & pumpkin seeds & caramel tuile) this year. A big thank you to all that went the extra mile for me.
Crossrail Roof Garden
First visit to the roof garden above Canary Wharf Crossrail station, which is designed by Foster & Partners. The roof is made of strengthened larch wood, aluminium louvers and plastic pillows pumped full of air, providing a similar effect to the Eden Project.
Vollkornbrot
Air flown from Germany. Trust the German to come up with a rye bread recipe that is so moist and dense. 2 thin slices for breakfast can last me through the morning.
Watching the boats go by
I think I can quite easily sit all day and watch the boats go by.
